Our Board of Trustees provides the governance and strategic leadership that guides Te Taumata o Ngāti Whakaue Iho Ake Trust. As poutiaki of our collective vision, they carry the responsibility of steering our waka to ensure we meet our obligations to the iwi, particularly in the vital areas of housing, te reo Māori revitalisation, and education. Their leadership is central to shaping pathways that uphold the aspirations of Ngāti Whakaue, while safeguarding the values and legacy of our tūpuna. As an iwi-based community organisation, we recognise the critical importance of their role in ensuring accountability, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to the wellbeing and advancement of our people.
